“Since leaning into grace over perfection, I’ve found more peace, more presence, and a whole lot more laughter in my everyday. Motherhood didn’t get easier—but my heart got stronger.”

In the Middle of Motherhood — and Right Where I Belong”

From Whistles to Worship — and All the Life Between

A few years ago, I found myself juggling more than just calendars and carpools. I was deep in the thick of Motherhood — four daughters in four different seasons, a homeschool schedule that never quit, and a heart that was tired even when the day was good.

There were days I felt pulled in every direction — from volleyball courts to kitchen counters to late-night college chats and middle school meltdowns. I loved my life, but I also felt like I was running on empty. That’s when I realized: I was pouring out without filling back up.

I made a decision — not to do more, but to slow down and make space for what really mattered. I started anchoring my days in prayer, prioritizing presence over perfection, and giving myself permission to rest, reset, and rejoice — even in the chaos.

It hasn’t been perfect. I still burn the occasional dinner and forget the laundry in the washer. But I’ve learned that joy doesn’t come from having it all figured out — it comes from letting God guide the messy middle.

And friend, if you’re there too? You’re not alone. There is beauty, growth, and grace in the season you’re standing in.

Happy Note from Beth

“If you need me, I’m either coaching volleyball, helping with algebra, or trying to find where my coffee cup ended up this time. It’s probably in the microwave. Again. So Mama, hold on—you’ve got this. We can do it together.

Beth’s Current Must Have Items

From volleyball courts to homeschool co-ops to late-night Target runs, these are the things that make my days run smoother (or at least make me smile while I’m chasing the chaos). Give me a strong cup of coffee, a reliable planner, my favorite worship playlist, and a good pair of sneakers — and I’m ready to face whatever this season throws at me. These aren’t just products — they’re little anchors in my day that help me show up with grace and grit.

“Some days it’s a game-winning spike. Some days it’s reheating coffee three times before drinking it. Either way—God’s in it, and that’s enough for me.”
