Okay, who else is READY for fall nights outside?! 🍂
Give me a fire going, something good cooking and a comfy place to sit, and I am happy.
I can already picture myself outside with my kids and grandkids, roasting marshmallows around the fire while we grill dinner. Or maybe we’re all just hanging out watching football—even though I don’t actually watch football. I’m there for the food, the people and the whole cozy setup.
And what about a quiet day or night relaxing in the hot tub with absolutely nowhere else to be?
Isn’t this what empty-nest life is supposed to look like? And if it isn’t, it is definitely what I want mine to be!
I found all of these outdoor goodies at Walmart, and they were ON SALE when I found them. Now I’m trying to convince myself that I don’t need every single one.
That Outdoor Fireplace!
This is the star of the whole setup and it is currently on SALE. Look how cozy it is! Put this on the patio, add a few blankets and I may not go back inside until winter.
The Patio Set
Coffee in the morning. Dinner outside. Snacks everywhere when the grandkids visit. I can already see us all sitting around this table laughing and talking way longer than we planned.
The Big Umbrella
Perfect for those fall afternoons when the sun is still showing off. I love that it gives you plenty of shade without a pole sitting right in the middle of everything.
The Outdoor Griddle
Breakfast outside? Yes. Burgers during football? Absolutely. Feeding everybody without destroying the kitchen? Even better.

How cute would this be filled with drinks and snacks for a backyard movie night?! Nothing fancy—just grab what you want and come sit down.
And Then There’s the Hot Tub…
Do I need an inflatable hot tub?
Probably not.
Do I suddenly want one after seeing this?
ONE HUNDRED PERCENT.
Just imagine sitting in it on a cool fall night with the fireplace going nearby. That sounds pretty dang perfect to me.
