Hi, I’m Mandy—Founder of The Empty Nest Mom, a lifelong Entrepreneur, and a Mom of two incredible Daughters who are off chasing their own dreams (cue the proud tears). After years of building businesses, balancing sports schedules, and being everyone’s go-to, I found myself standing in a quiet house wondering, what now? Oh—and I’m also a proud Mimi to the world’s most amazing Grandkids, who keep my heart full and my cookie jar empty!
So, I did what I’ve always done—I created something.
The Empty Nest Mom isn’t just for Moms who’ve recently said goodbye at the dorm room door—it’s for Moms in every season. Whether you’re rocking a newborn at 2 AM, navigating teenage moods, or learning to love the quiet, or sharing your heart (and snacks) with a four-legged fur baby—you belong here!
This is a vibrant, heartfelt space where Moms can reconnect with who they are, explore new passions, and remind themselves that they matter—at every stage of Motherhood.

From My Heart to Yours
I’ve been the behind-the-scenes glue—packing lunches, balancing budgets, running businesses, cheering from the bleachers. But now? I’m stepping into a new season—one where I guide other Women to take the stage in their own lives. Through The Empty Nest Mom, MomBoss Mentoring, and TenM Travel, I’m helping Moms rediscover what lights them up and build lives and businesses that reflect who they are now.
Because being a Mom will always be part of my story—but it’s not the whole story.

I’ve always had a heart for adventure—whether it’s exploring a charming small town or hopping on a plane to chase sunsets in a new country. I love to travel throughout the U.S. and internationally. So far, Italy has been my favorite (the food, the beauty, the people!), but stay tuned… the list is growing.
I’ll be sharing all the things—travel reviews, my must-haves, packing tips, hidden gems, and favorite spots along the way. You’ll get a real look at what worked, what didn’t, and what I’d do all over again.
But more than anything, I travel for the stories.

What Keeps Me Inspired (and Mostly Sane)
I’ve never been one to sit still. Over the years, I’ve started and sold several businesses—from flower shops to pizza franchises to rental properties—and somehow managed to organize town festivals and coach youth sports teams in between. Entrepreneurship isn’t just something I do—it’s who I am. I love the creative chaos of building something out of nothing, figuring it out as I go, and making it work with a lot of grit, heart, and coffee.
These days, I’m building something special just for Moms—because we deserve to dream big, go far, and create boldly. I’m launching TenM Travel, a full-service travel agency created with Moms in mind—whether you’re chasing adventure, craving rest, planning that girls’ trip you’ve talked about for years, or finally saying yes to that solo escape. I’m also learning the art of videography, capturing real stories of reinvention—because our journeys deserve to be seen and remembered. And through MomBoss Mentoring, I help Moms and small-town dreamers turn fresh starts into thriving businesses. Starting over? Reinventing yourself? Building something that didn’t exist yesterday? That’s my kind of fun.
