THE KIDS GREW UP. I DID TOO.

Hi, I’m Mandy!

MOM. MIMI. ENTREPRENEUR.
TRAVELER. DREAM CHASER. AND a BELIEVER THAT
WE’RE NOT DONE YET.

I loved raising my girls, and I’ll always be their mom first. But somewhere between raising kids, building businesses, losing people I loved, and watching life change faster than I expected, I realized something: there was still a whole lot of Mandy left in there too.

These days I’m traveling more, trying things that scare me a little, building The Empty Nest Mom, making money in new ways, spending time with my girls whenever I can, and saying yes a whole lot more. I don’t have every part of this chapter figured out — but I know we’re not supposed to sit around waiting for life to happen to us.

My Story

I LOVED BEING THEIR MOM.
BUT I WAS STILL MANDY, TOO.

I spent years raising my girls, building a life, working, taking care of everyone and doing what moms do — keeping a million little pieces moving. And I loved being their Mom. I still do.

But then they grew up. Life got quieter. And for the first time in a long time, I had room to ask myself a question I think a lot of women eventually ask: What do I want now?

I didn’t want to become a completely different person. I wanted to find the parts of me that had been waiting — the woman who wanted to travel, try new things, build something, make money, have fun, make mistakes and say yes without needing everyone else’s permission first.

“Mandy has been a huge resource for me for years. When I decided to sell my business, I brought her in to help me get everything aligned and ready. It was one of the best decisions I made.”

“I had questions about what to do and how to move forward. I’d watched Mandy be successful for years, so I went to her for help and advice. She helped me figure out my next steps and gave me the confidence to move forward.”

-jill

“Mandy doesn’t sugarcoat anything—and that’s exactly what I needed. She helped me face where my business really was, understand my options, and figure out what to do next.”

-Quinn

I’ve built businesses, sold a business, helped other business owners find their next move, and learned plenty of lessons the hard way. Now I get to use all of that experience to help other women figure out what’s next for them.

Maybe you want to start something of your own. Maybe you already have a business and feel stuck. Or maybe you just know you’re ready for MORE but have no idea what “more” looks like yet.

You don’t need another cookie-cutter plan. You need someone who will listen, ask the right questions, tell you the truth, and help you make a plan that actually fits YOUR life.

REAL-WORLD EXPERIENCE

Business Has Always Been My Thing

I’ve spent years building businesses, leading teams, managing projects, marketing, selling, and helping other business owners figure out what comes next. But more than anything, I genuinely love small business—and I love helping someone take an idea, a problem, or a dream and turn it into a plan.

BUILDER

Business & Entrepreneurship

I’ve started, grown, led, and sold businesses of my own. I know the decisions, risks, mistakes, long days, and incredible rewards that come with building something yourself.

LEADER

Led People, Projects & Big Ideas

From company president and marketing VP to leading sales teams, managing projects, chairing committees, and serving as school board vice president—I know how to take an idea and move it forward.

REAL-WORLD EXPERIENCE

I’ve Worn a Lot of Hats

Real estate. Insurance. Cosmetology. Sales. Marketing. Project management. Entrepreneurship. My career hasn’t followed one straight line—and I’m really glad it didn’t.

The Journey

I Never Had a Perfect Roadmap. I Just Kept Going.

1999

I Started My First Business

I jumped into entrepreneurship and quickly learned that owning a business meant wearing every hat, solving problems as they came, and figuring out a whole lot along the way.

2005

Everything Changed Overnight

My husband was killed unexpectedly, and suddenly I was raising our girls while stepping into businesses we had built together. I didn’t know where everything was—or even how I was going to do it—but I knew I wanted to stay close to my girls. So I figured it out and kept going.

THE NEXT CHAPTER

I Built Again

After selling, I started a new chapter in the pizza business through a franchise. What began as another opportunity grew into operating multiple locations across multiple states and gave me an entirely new level of experience in operations, people, sales, leadership, and growth.

THEN LIFE CHANGED AGAIN

I Became Mimi

Business had always been a huge part of my story, but becoming Mimi brought a whole new kind of joy. Eventually I sold again, and for the first time in a long time, I had room to ask myself what I wanted to do next.

CONSULTING

Business Owners Started Calling

I began consulting and helping small-business owners work through the things I had spent years learning firsthand—growth, operations, marketing, leadership, tough decisions, and sometimes simply figuring out the next right move.

THE EMPTY NEST — TODAY

Then I Had to Figure Out What Was Next for Me

I moved my youngest daughter out of state for college and came home to an empty nest. After years of being Mom, business owner, and the person everyone needed, I found myself asking, “Okay… now what?”
That question eventually became The Empty Nest Mom. Today I’m building a life I’m genuinely excited about — traveling more, growing this community, chasing new ideas, building businesses, and helping other women realize this chapter can be theirs too.

Turns out, starting over is kind of my thing.

What I Believe

What You Can Expect From Me

REAL TALK, ALWAYS

I’m not going to tell you what you want to hear just to make you feel good. I’ll tell you what I see, what I think, and what your options are — then we figure out the next move together.

DONE BEATS PERFECT

You can spend forever waiting for the perfect time, perfect plan, or perfect idea. Sometimes you just have to start, learn as you go, and figure it out along the way.

YOUR LIFE MATTERS TOO

A successful business means very little if it takes over your entire life. We’re building something that works for your goals, your family, and the life you actually want to live.

THERE’S ALWAYS A NEXT MOVE

Stuck doesn’t mean finished. Whether you need to grow, pivot, simplify, sell, or start all over again, there is almost always another option.

Off the Clock

A Few Things You Should Know About Me

Because there’s a whole lot more to me than business.

My People

My girls, my grandkids, and the grand-dog are my whole world. Being Mom and MiMi will always be my favorite titles.

Goal Chaser

I took up running because apparently I needed another way to prove to myself I can do hard things. Give me a goal, and I’m probably going to chase it.

Say Yes More

Trips, spontaneous adventures, new experiences, starting over — I’m learning to say YES now instead of “maybe someday.” Life’s too short to keep waiting.

READY FOR WHAT’S NEXT?

Come Figure It Out With Me.

The kids grew up. That doesn’t mean our lives got smaller.
Around here, we’re traveling, trying new things, making money, chasing ideas, laughing at ourselves, and figuring out what we want this next chapter to look like.
We’re not done yet. Not even close.
