We’re Mandy and Lauren — a Mother-Daughter duo learning, laughing, and sometimes crying our way through life’s next chapters.
Together, we built The Empty Nest Mom as a space for Moms, Daughters, and Women to reconnect, rediscover themselves, and remember that growing up doesn’t mean growing apart.
This is where we trade perfection for permission — permission to laugh, cry, grow, and start again. Over coffee chats, late-night talks, and a few “don’t tell Mom” moments, we’ve learned that healing happens when you stop pretending you’re fine… and start being real.
It hasn’t always been easy between us — not because of love, but because life got loud.

Between raising kids, chasing dreams, and rebuilding after hard seasons, we had to find each other again — as Women, not just as Mom and Daughter.
Through late-night talks, laughter, and the kind of honesty that heals, we realized how many other Moms and Daughters were trying to do the same.
The Empty Nest Mom became our way of saying, “You’re not alone.”
Now we show up — unfiltered, unperfect, and full of heart — to talk about it all: the growing pains, the laughter, and the beauty of rediscovering yourself (and each other) in every season.

These are the Moms who show up with stories, laughter, encouragement, and a little bit of chaos — just like life itself. From raising teens and coaching sports to balancing careers, homeschooling, and grandbabies, they remind us that every season of Motherhood matters.
