There’s something so special about discovering a local gem—and The Painted Posie is exactly that.
Tucked inside what feels like the coziest little house-turned-boutique you’ll ever step foot in, The Painted Posie is the kind of place that instantly makes you want to stay a while. And trust me, we did!
Lauren and I had the best time exploring this charming boutique right in the heart of Raymore. With over 20 unique vendors (all local to the area!), this place is truly a celebration of small businesses and creative hearts. From trendy clothing and handmade bows to farmhouse-style dressers, candles, t-shirts, gifts, and even shoes—there’s literally something for everyone.
As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by some of the sweetest women ever. Shelley Harmon, the lovely owner, wasn’t there that day, but her equally lovely Mom was—and let me just say, she was a total delight! Everyone made us feel so welcome, and the customer service was beyond amazing. You can feel the love and passion in every corner of this place.
And how could we leave without getting cookies? Of course we did! And ladies… they were aaaaaamazing.
Inside The Painted Posie is Baked with Bobbi—a darling little bakery tucked into the boutique, and those cookies? Soft, fresh, and totally addictive.
We left with full hands, happy hearts, and the kind of “that was so fun!” energy you only get from a place that really hits home. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, The Painted Posie is 100% worth the visit.
