A woman sits quietly by a small creek on a grassy bank, gazing off into the distance with a peaceful expression. Dressed in a white T-shirt and leggings, her reflection shimmers in the water beside her.

The Freedom to Be Me

Hey, Sweet Friend,

Have you ever looked in the mirror and quietly asked yourself, “Who am I now?”

Not the Mom. Not the chauffeur. Not the one managing the schedules, the meals, the moods. Just… you.

This one’s straight from my heart.

There was a moment not too long ago when I looked around and thought, “Wait… where did I go?” Not Mandy the Mom. Not Mandy the Business Owner. Not Mandy the fixer, doer, planner, worrier. Just… me.

And the truth? I couldn’t find her. I looked in all the usual places — in my schedule, in my work, in the mirror — but she wasn’t there. I had spent so many years putting everyone else first that I didn’t even realize I’d slowly stopped checking in with myself. I wasn’t sure what I liked anymore. What made me excited. What made me feel alive. I had been moving at a pace that didn’t leave room for wondering, let alone rediscovering. And that realization? It hit hard.

But when the house got quieter and the girls began writing their own stories, I realized something else: I had space again. And as much as I thought, for years, that this was exactly what I wanted—freedom, quiet, flexibility—I was surprised by how much I missed the noise, the chaos, the constant pull. But as all things go, it was a matter of getting used to it. In the stillness, I started to hear my own voice again. My Mom calendar didn’t scream urgency anymore—it whispered opportunity.

Who Am I?

Mandy and the TENM crew share a joyful moment in the park — because sisterhood, laughter, and a little chaos are what motherhood at any stage is all about. Join our community of strong, silly, and supportive moms.

That’s when I started to wonder: What if this next chapter isn’t about losing who I was? What if it’s about finally becoming who I am?

So I gave myself permission to rediscover the girl who used to dance in the kitchen barefoot — and sometimes in the rain — who wrote poems and dreamed big. And while I’d love to say I didn’t feel guilty for resting — I did. I still do sometimes. Because if there’s one thing moms know too well, it’s guilt. (And honestly? That deserves its own podcast episode.) I booked a solo lunch date. I started journaling again. I picked up a book that had nothing to do with parenting hacks. I pulled out my favorite pens and wrote like no one would ever read it. And guess what?

That feeling of freedom? It came rushing in.

These aren’t just products — they’re my little reminders that I matter outside of the roles I play. When I reach for that journal or pour coffee into a mug just for me, it’s not about the thing. It’s about choosing myself — one tiny reset at a time.”

My Freedom to Be Me Must Haves……….

Resetting doesn’t have to mean booking a trip or disappearing for hours (although, yes please!). Sometimes, it’s just a pair of comfy PJs, a soft pen in hand, and a mug that reminds you to slow down.

These aren’t just products — they’re small, amazing ways that I remind myself that I matter too.

Here’s what’s been getting me through my “Freedom to Be Me” days lately:
